Know Tier 2 and Tier UK visas

  1. As the UK Border Agency has stopped processing applications for Tier 1 (General) for people residing outside the UK, the foreign residents can apply for Tier 2 UK visa but the applicants should need job offer letter from the UK employer, which needs to be registered with the UK Border Agency and obtain a sponsorship licence. 

  2. There are some rules and regulations regarding the salary of the applicant. For an example, the employee will need to get salary more than £20,300 according to rules framed since 6th April 2013.

  3. English language skills are also tested before approving the visa

  4. Moving to Tier 5 Visa, these types of visas are segregated into many types –

            a)   (Temporary Worker – creative and sporting)
            b)   (Temporary Worker – youth mobility scheme)
            c)   (Temporary worker – international agreement)
            d)   (Temporary worker – government authorised exchange)
            e)   (Temporary worker – religious workers)
